Speaking Task 8 · Describing an Unusual Situation. Describe an unusual park bench made from a tractor seat and bent rebar to a friend who is building patio seating, and ask her a follow-up question.
The last task shows a deliberately strange image - an odd object, an impossible vehicle, a scene that should not exist - and asks you to describe it to someone who cannot see it, usually over the phone. You get 30 seconds to prepare and 60 seconds to speak.
